At the Pennsylvania Yacht Club, we offer a variety of entertainment events that are scheduled throughout the year including live music, formal evenings, deck parties, theme nights, fishing tournaments, and more!  Check the PYC Club Calendar for upcoming events.

Theme Parties

Each year, Pennsylvania Yacht Club sponsors five themed events open to club members, family, and friends.  The events vary from year to year and include thing like Seafood Festivals, Comedy Shows, Live Music Venues and Murder Mystery Dinners.  Check out the Club Calendar to find events.

Club Picnics

During boating season, the club takes advantage of its outdoor pavilion and throws several picnics.  It starts with our annual Opening Day festivities and subsequent gatherings including on Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day weekends.  The events encourage members, their families and guests to use the clubhouse Facilities to barbecue and socialize.

Member Socials

Members are encourage to come to social events at the clubhouse.  It is a great opportunity to get to know each other and share knowledge about the river, boat repairs, place to go on the river, topics of the day, etc.

Zumba Class

Zumba is a weekly class offered on Thursday nights, currently at 6pm. Walk-ins are welcome.  There is a $5 fee.

Sea Scouts Ship 2012

Sea Scouts is a values based co-ed non-profit program for youth age 14, (or age 13 and completed 8th grade) up to age 21. Sea Scouts mission is to teach leadership through Seamanship, we are part of Boy Scouts of America.  Meetings are held Wednesday nights.  To learn more check out them out on facebook.

Other Events

Beyond the standard scheduled club activities, the PYC also sponsors events throughout the year that are open to the public.  Some examples include an annual Catfish Tournament, Kids Fishing Derby, car shows, polar plunge luncheon, and various other activities.  Check our calendar for upcoming events.
